KCSE brain drain- Can it really stop?

There have been numerous documented studies on brain drain in countries.

However, what is often not documented is the loss of the top brains that excel in KCSE. For instance, all the best KCSE students between 1989 and 2001 had received full scholarships to study abroad. For instance, the top KCSE student in the first KCSE in 1989, Naeem samnakay , went to study abroad and is now a pediatric surgeon in Australia. Other top students such as Fred Were (KCSE 1990), Kirimania Murithi (KCSE 1994), Mwashuma Nyattu (KCSE 1997), Timothy Thairu ( KCSE 1998), Samuel Gikandi (KCSE 1999), Dhar Tishampati (KCSE 2000), Nayosi Buge Omete (KCSE 2008), Wanjiku Mungai (KCSE 2009) also received full scholarships to study in elite US colleges such as Harvard, Yale, MIT
