Does it matter which University one attends?

Each country has its own elite schools that train the leaders, professionals and other important people in society.

For instance, the US, the elite Ivy League Universities such as Harvard and Yale come to mind. In the UK, Oxbridge ( Oxford and Cambridge) University come to mind. In Uganda, Makerere University comes to mind while the University of Dar-es-Salam comes to mind when one thinks of Tanzania. The quest for quality education in Kenya has gotten a notch higher and every University is trying to cut out a niche for itself.
